BATTLEFIN GROUP, INC.
  HEALTH & SAFETY POLICY

BattleFin considers the health and safety of all those onsite at our Discovery Day Events as our top priority. We are committed to building these events safely during public health-related challenges. To accomplish this goal, however, we need all participants, including attendees, guests, volunteers, staff, and partners, to do their part as well, as described below.

BattleFin has established health and safety protocols for the Discovery Day Events in 2022. We are requesting that all participants and attendees follow all such health and safety protocols at all times. These protocols are subject to change at BattleFin’s sole discretion in response to changing conditions and regulations.

Considering the ongoing spread of COVID-19, individuals who fall within any of the categories below should not engage in BattleFin events and/or other face-to-face meetings or activities. By attending a BattleFin event, you certify that you do not fall into any of the following categories:

  1. Individuals who currently or within the past 14 days prior to the event have experienced any symptoms associated with COVID-19 as described in the guidance from the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (“CDC”), which include fever, cough, and shortness of breath among others.

  2. Individuals who believe that they may have been exposed to a confirmed or suspected case of COVID-19 or have been diagnosed with COVID-19 and are not yet cleared as non-contagious by state or local public health authorities or the health care team responsible for their treatment.

  3. Individuals who are not fully vaccinated against COVID-19, meaning it has been fewer than 14 days since the final dose.

BattleFin reserves the right to refuse attendance to any BattleFin event and cancel registration if an attendee falls within one of the above-mentioned categories. Please be aware that BattleFin does not provide refunds for Discovery Day Events registration cancellation or platform subscription cancellation or to participants who fall into the above-mentioned categories.

BattleFin requires that all participants and attendees follow the most recent CDC guidance regarding travel related to attendance at any BattleFin event. It is the responsibility of each attendee to familiarize themselves with the latest Miami Dade County travel advisories prior to arriving in Miami or to any other Global Conference event.

PROOF OF VACCINATION

Individuals are required to bring proof of vaccination (either physical or a photo or scan) upon arrival on-site for BattleFin Discovery Day Events. A negative COVID-19 PCR test within 48 hours of the event starting will also suffice. At-home tests or antigen tests do NOT count.

Registration will be subject to cancellation without refund for any participants who do not arrive with a valid vaccination card or negative COVID test. BattleFin may allow exceptions under special circumstances at its sole discretion. Please click here or email info@battlefin.com if you are requesting an exemption from the vaccination requirement and would provide proof of a negative COVID-19 test result obtained within forty-eight (48) hours prior to attending the conference.

GUIDANCE ON COVID-19 BOOSTER SHOTS

COVID-19 booster shots are not required for BattleFin Discovery Day Events. However, if you are eligible, receiving a booster is strongly recommended.

DUTY TO SELF-MONITOR

Guests should continue to follow BattleFin health and safety protocols while attending meetings and events off-site, that are not held at the Nobu Eden Roc Miami Beach. This includes meetings and events that may not be hosted by BattleFin, sponsored by another organization, or a private individual.

Participants, including attendees, guests, staff, partners, and volunteers agree to self-monitor for signs and symptoms of COVID-19 (symptoms typically include fever, cough, and shortness of breath) and, contact BattleFin at info@battlefin.com if they experience symptoms of COVID-19 within 48 hours after participating in any event hosted by BattleFin.

During the conference, if a participant is feeling unwell and takes a COVID-19 test off-site, we ask that the individual remain off-site until their test results are complete. If the test result is positive, we ask that the participant stays in their home, or hotel, contact their primary care provider and report their positive status to info@battlefin.com.

If the test results are negative, the unwell participant is still asked to stay home, out of respect for the health and safety of the other guests and staff.
